Yes we can feel it in our bones............the days are getting longer and we are thinking of getting the toes out. They have been 'locked' up all Winter and deserve some TLC before they make their big entrance for 2019.
So we've put together some very simple steps to help you get you and your little piggies feeling and looking great for those Summer sandal days.
Step 1: Soak.
Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil which has many benefits for skin conditions such as dandruff and acne. But is also great for revitalising our feet, keeping fungus at bay and helps avoid athletes foot. Add a few drops of The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil to a basin of hot soapy water and relax. Do this a few times over the Summer and enjoy.
Step 2: Exfoliate.
Yes exfoliation is the next crucial step and with this Exfoliating Foot Mask from Essential Botanics you will not know yourself. Using a wearable sock type mask on each foot you sit and relax - it will remove all unwanted dead and dry skin leaving your feet smooth and fresh. Amazing!!
Step 3: Buff
Buff away hard skin to create beautiful and luxuriously soft feet. Try the new Scholl Express Pedi with Diamond Crystals.. Simply roll it across the affected areas for beautiful and luxuriously soft feet. This is a must-do before popping on those sandals.
Step 4: Moisturise
A good intensive moisturiser is essential to finish off your happy feet session. Use Kelkin Vitamin E and Peppermint, Cracked Heel Cream to really give those piggies the royal treatment. The best time to moisturise your feet is after a shower but if time doesn't allow, give them some TLC before you hit the hay at night.
Step 5: Cuticle care
Our cuticles need some TLC too every so often. Use some cuticle oil to keep them moisturised, push them back and use a cuticle clippers to tidy them.
Step 5: Varnish Va Va Voom
For the finale, have some fun and use your creative juices to add colour and designs. Rimmel do a great range with loads of colours to choose from that won't break the bank!
So get organised and treat your feet....afterall when your feet are happy then you are happy. Enjoy!
