Back to school means headlice make headway

Flynn’s Pharmacy is warning of a dramatic increase in head lice cases as children return to school. Around 80% of head lice infections occur in children between 4 and 16 years and outbreaks can be distressing for children and parents.
“Our pharmacists can advise parents on all cases as well as specific problems which might arise, where children have asthma, a pre-existing skin condition or where treatment has failed previously”, says pharmacy owner Jimmy Flynn.
